Rules for 2009
1. During the regular season, each ffg players can pick any golfer ONLY twice, once for a non-major and once for a major.
2. All picks must be submitted by the start of each weeks tournament. Once the tournament starts, NO PICKS will be accepted.
3. Each ffger will pick (1) golfer for non-majors (except for the summer series), (2) golfers for the summer series and (3) golfers for majors. This number refers to the number of golfers picked per tournament.
4. The earnings your golfers wins each week will be added to your total with the top (10) after week (33) advancing to the playoffs. New this year, an (11th) ffg'er will be added to the playoffs. This will be the person who wins the most money during the summer series, but who wouldn't have qualified for the playoffs otherwise. This ffg'er will be the (11th) seed and start with $0 in the playoffs.
5. Each major, the west coast swing and the summer series will pay the ffger who wins the most money.
6. The (1st) and (2nd) place finisher of the regular season and the (1st), (2nd) and (3rd) place finisher of the playoffs will earn a payout.
7. Based on your finish in the top (10) after the regular season, you will be reassigned a dollar value starting with the (1st) place finisher getting $1,000,000, (2nd) $900,000, 3rd ($800,000) etc...
8. Once in the playoffs, ANY GOLFER can get picked again, but only once. You will pick (2) golfers each week in the playoffs, can only use each golfer once in the playoffs, but can pick from anyone in the field.
9. The ffger with the lowest total earnings after each playoff tournament will get dropped - meaning only (8) ffger's will be left to play in the Tour Championship starting September 24th.
10. Good luck - and please e-mail ffgtour@gmail.com with any input, advice, questions or comments. Final payouts will be posted once a confirmed list off ffg'ers is finalized.
